A terrible tragedy happened in the family of the world-famous boxer Mike Tyson. His youngest daughter Exodus suffered an accident that led to her death.
The tragedy in the family of the world boxer
Mike Tyson's youngest daughter, four-year-old Exodus, died in May 2009. The girl was playing in the room on the treadmill, at that moment no one was around. As a result of the game, a wire was wrapped around her neck. According to the parents, the first girl was seen by her brother, who entered the room and immediately reported the incident to the mother. At the time the ambulance arrived, the little girl was already in critical condition and was unconscious. Doctors immediately began to perform resuscitation measures. At the hospital, Tyson's daughter was hooked up to a life support device. However, the very next day the girl died.
The device was turned off by the decision of the parents, who were assured by the doctors that the girl had no chance of salvation.
The police officer conducting the investigation stated with complete confidence that it was an accident. There was a loop at the end of the wire, into which the girl accidentally or deliberately stuck her head.
At the time of the girl's play, the treadmill was switched on for some reason, which led to irreversible terrible consequences.
Tyson survived the death of his little daughter
Mike Tyson has never been an exemplary family man, as evidenced by his three marriages. From the first two marriages, he already had five children. However, despite the fact that he could not maintain relations with his women, he always kept in touch with his children, took care of them and helped in every way.
According to his acquaintances, Mike is a very caring father. Daughter Exodus was born in 2005 to his third wife Lakia Spicer. At the time of the tragedy, the world famous boxer was far from his family in Las Vegas. But as soon as he was informed of what had happened, he immediately flew to his hometown. When he arrived at the hospital, the doctors were already absolutely sure that the further maintenance of the girl's life did not make any sense. At the time of the shutdown of the artificial life support system, Mike Tyson was holding his youngest daughter Exodus in his arms.
In his address to the public, the boxer thanked everyone who reacted with sympathy and understanding to the tragedy and morally supported them. However, he also asked everyone with a special interest in their life not to disturb their family at this moment. Tyson asked to respect their grief and experiences.
