The future theater and film actor was born in Tashkent on July 24, 1972. After his birth, the family moved to the capital of the USSR, where Alexei spent his childhood. Grishin's parents had nothing to do with art. Moreover, they did not advise their son to associate his life with acting.
And yet, after serving in the army, Grishin firmly decided to become an actor. He became a student at the Moscow Art Theater School. The training took place on the course of Oleg Tabakov. After graduation, Alexei received an invitation to work at Tabakerka.

In a creative team led by Tabakov, Grishin served from 1998 to 2006. Then he joined the troupe of the Mossovet Theater. At the same time, Alexey collaborated with the Andron Konchalovsky Foundation and the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
