Other versions related to poisoning or trauma to the skull cannot be ruled out.
Modern experts in the field of criminology can only say with certainty that the pharaoh died a sudden and unnatural death. It should be noted the haste with which the burial was carried out, the violation of the ritual, the very modest size and incompleteness of the tomb, which is not at all befitting the status of a ruler. The walls of the tomb are painted hastily and with great carelessness. The embalming of Tutankhamun's body was also carried out inaccurately, and some signs may indicate a possible concealment of the traces of the murder.
The final point in the question of the causes of the death of the young pharaoh has not yet been put. Researchers expect to refine the data using modern methods, including radiological, genetic, and computed tomography. Only a comprehensive and complex analysis will make it possible to make a legitimate conclusion about whether Tutankhamun was killed, for example, as a result of a conspiracy, or whether he became a victim of an incurable disease.
