Telephone country codes of cities are contained in telephone directories. But what if you only know the subscriber's number without a code, and the telephone directory is not at hand, or it is incomplete (regional or regional)?

Step 1
In this case, the Internet service "Smart Phone" can help you, containing a database with telephone codes of cities and countries. In the section "Help" on the site there is a link to this database. To find out the telephone code of a certain city, and at the same time the country code, follow the link to the "Smart Phone" resource.
Step 2
On this page you will see the rules for dialing long-distance and international numbers from landline and mobile phones. Below there are two fields - a field for entering a captcha (image from a picture) and a field for entering the name of a settlement. In the first field, enter two words from the picture, separated by a space. If the text is written incomprehensibly, click the "Load new task" button. It is located to the right of the text and has two red arrows on it.
Step 3
After you have recognized and entered the image from the picture, type in the field below the name of the city or town whose telephone code you want to find out. Then click the "Search" button.
Step 4
If the captcha and city name are entered correctly, the page will reload, and at the bottom of the site you will see the name of the country in which the settlement is located, as well as the telephone country code and area code. If a mistake was made when entering the captcha or city name, the system will notify you of this and offer to fill in the fields again.
