Childhood, adolescence and participation in the "SG"

Sergey Stanislavovich Bobunets was born in Nizhny Tagil, his birthday is September 1. Two years later, his family moved to Yekaterinburg (then still Sverdlovsk). Sergei began to get involved in music at the age of eleven, and soon he managed to graduate from music school in the bass guitar class. But the musician never received a higher education, although he entered the journalism faculty of USU.

In 1989, together with three other guys, Sergei Bobunets put together "Semantic Hallucinations". A year later, the group was admitted to the legendary Sverdlovsk rock club. As a result, the collective existed until January 2017 (the last performance of the group took place within the framework of the Old New Rock festival on January 13).

Dozens of hits were created by “Semantic Hallucinations”, including, for example, the famous hit “Forever Young”. In the late nineties, largely due to the fact that director Balabanov included this song in his film "Brother-2", it became familiar to literally everyone in Russia. It is also interesting that "Semantic Hallucinations", although they are not a pop group, received as many as two statuettes of the "Golden Gramophone".

Also in the biography of Sergei Bobunets, in addition to activities in the "SG", was the work of a radio presenter and journalist in the Yekaterinburg newspaper. And in 2010, under the governor Alexander Misharin, Bobunets was a member of the regional Public Chamber.

Solo creativity

After the dissolution of SG, Sergei Stanislavovich traveled a lot around the world, wrote songs and music for films and social videos, gave concerts in the DPR and Syria.

And in the fall of 2017, he presented to the public his mini-album of three tracks "While the angels are dancing." This novelty was received mostly positively. In this album, elements of the old aesthetics of "Semantic Hallucinations" have acquired a renewed sound. In March 2018, the musician released a full-fledged solo disc called "Everything is OK".

In addition to music, Sergey Bobunets is successfully engaged in business - he is the owner of his own restaurant in Yekaterinburg. He also has another interesting hobby - trips on motorcycles, snowmobiles, jet skis.

Musician's family

Sergei Bobunets has a wife named Dilara - she is an architect and designer by education. The musician met his love and future wife at a fairly early age (with Dilara, they grew up, as he himself pointed out in an interview, in the courtyards next door). Also, Sergei Stanislavovich has a son, Nikita, who is already twenty years old. He, one might say, followed in his father's footsteps and is also engaged in music. The whole family lives in a house near Lake Shartash. Relatives and friends call Sergei Bobunets "Buboy", the mention of this nickname can often be found in journalistic articles dedicated to the musician.
