Instructions

Step 1

Language is absolutely necessary as a means of communication between people, as a way of coordinating their actions and efforts. In ancient times, primitive people could still somehow manage with gestures and monosyllabic sounds, with the help of which they attracted the attention of relatives or warned of danger. But as soon as our distant ancestors began to conduct activities that required the application of common efforts, coupled with a clear division of responsibilities, it became clear that the old ways of communication were no longer enough. So, gradually, individual words began to appear, then sentences. This was the beginning of the birth of the language.

Step 2

Language enables people to understand each other. Indeed, is it easy to guess what the other person wants if he is silent? Using language, you can clearly identify your wishes, explain your views, position on a particular issue. Moreover, this applies to both communication with the family, between the closest people, and relations between states. Finally, with the help of language, you can tell your loved one about your feelings.

Step 3

With the help of language, people exchange their accumulated experience and knowledge. Without language, it is impossible to learn any business, craft, or get an education. The language made it possible to record the accumulated information, the experience of previous generations. Thus, relying on this base, people gradually improved their lives, made discoveries that contribute to scientific and technological progress. Without this, the human race would have frozen in its development at the level of the Stone Age.

Step 4

Language makes it possible to express your thoughts, to clothe them in a beautiful, figurative form. If there were no language, there would be no masterpieces of prose and poetry that make millions of people admire. Without language, it is impossible to organize people, unite, induce them to some kind of collective action. There are a number of other reasons why language is needed. But even what is listed is quite enough to be convinced of its importance and value.
