Biography
Ellen was born into a Catholic family with roots in 1969 on November 10 in Everett. She became the youngest, sixth child in the Pompeo family, and she was diagnosed with asthma. At 4 years old, the future actress experienced a real shock, like everyone else close to her - her mother, Kathleen, died of an overdose of pills. His father, Joseph the merchant, was left alone with the children, but soon found a new wife, who became a caring mother to his children.
Ellen was brought up in strict Catholic traditions, church attendance was compulsory. After graduating from high school, in the early nineties, Ellen got a job as a bartender in a small diner in New York. There, an agent noticed a pretty girl and offered to work on television in advertising. Pompeo agreed, and this experience of working in commercials proved to be very useful for her future career.
Career
In 1996, thanks to the same agent, Pompeo got a small role in the popular television series Law & Order. In 1996, the girl starred in a couple of short films and a little-known telenovela, and in 2001 the actress moved to Los Angeles, determined to connect her life with television.
