Francis Albert Sinatra was born in New Jersey (USA) on December 12, 1915. The baby was born with a solid weight - more than six kilograms. The mother of the future singer was a nurse. My father worked at the shipyard, was a boiler operator. Parents once emigrated to the United States from Italy.
After the birth of Francis, his father tried to find himself a permanent job. He became involved in boxing fights and soon became a favorite of the local public. The head of the family actually became Frank's mother, a dynamic, albeit a little gloomy woman. She devoted a lot of time to politics and social work.
It was difficult for parents to choose the time to raise their son. Therefore, he often stayed with his grandmother, and then with his aunt. From an early age, Francis was interested in music, he even moonlighted with the help of a small musical installation in city bars.
In 1931, Sinatra was noisily kicked out of school: the reason was his behavior. Therefore, he never received a formal education. He even sang only from ear, not knowing musical notation.

Already in 1932, Sinatra began performing on the radio. He is determined to become a professional singer. During the Great Depression, Sinatra also worked as a sports journalist. Frank was very interested in cinematography, in particular - films about gangsters.
In 1935, Sinatra won a popular radio show competition with the band The Hoboken Four. After that, the rapidly gaining popularity of the group went on a tour of the country.
But soon Frank was arrested for having an affair with a married woman, which was considered a crime in those years. The singer's career has hung in the balance. As a result, Sinatra still escaped criminal punishment.
Sinatra's career took off after signing a lifetime contract with the Harry James and Tommy Dorsey Jazz Orchestras.
In 1944, Sinatra was declared unfit for military service. Much later, the singer beat up a journalist who claimed that Sinatra used his connections to evade service.

In 1939, Nancy Barbato became Sinatra's wife. In this marriage, Frank had a daughter, who later became a famous singer. Then his wife gave birth to Sinatra's son, Frank Jr.
In the late 1940s, Sinatra entered a period of creative crisis. This stagnation coincided with a whirlwind romance, in the center of which was the actress Ava Gardner. Nancy filed for divorce, and the relationship with Gardner escalated into a major scandal. Many at the time turned their backs on Francis. In 1951, Frank and Ava Gardner got married. Six years later, this union of two hearts fell apart. At the same time, Sinatra loses his voice due to a severe cold.
