Many people are looking forward to the weekend in order to take a break from working days. Some months of the year, in addition to Saturdays and Sundays, can delight workers with other holidays.
November includes thirty days. In 2014, of this time, there are twelve days on official holidays. So, in November 2014 the days off are 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th -th and 30th.
In addition to the regular weekends of Saturday and Sunday, there will be two additional weekends in November 2014. This is connected with the national holiday Day of National Unity and Accord. This day has recently been celebrated in Russia on November 4th. Thanks to this holiday, workers will rest for four days in a row. In particular, November 1st and 2nd (as usual Saturday and Sunday), and November 3rd and 4th - in honor of the national unity holiday.
In addition to the national holiday of national unity in November, there are other unofficial celebrations. Among them are: KVN Day (November 8), Police Day (November 10), Sberbank Employee Day (November 12), Sociologist Day (November 14), Child's Day (November 20), Information Protection Day (November 30th).
In November, there are days off for schoolchildren. So, at the end of the month, classes stop at schools due to vacations after the first academic quarter.
