Many citizens are mistaken when they say that politics is a dirty business. Not true. This type of activity is in no way worse than doing art or business. The biography of Alexander Sidyakin is a clear confirmation of this.
Starting conditions
Children's dreams and projects are rarely continued in the next stages of life. Alexander Gennadievich Sidyakin was born on November 17, 1977 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the small town of Segezha. His father worked as a crane operator at the Pulp and Paper Mill, and his mother worked as a nurse in a city clinic. The boy grew up and developed in the environment of his peers. I dreamed of becoming an astronaut or a taxi driver. I studied well at school. He was engaged in the athletics section. He took part in tourist gatherings.
Alexander received a certificate of maturity and a silver medal in the mid-90s. By that time, my father was among the unemployed. The city-forming enterprise for the production of paper and cardboard was among the bankrupts. With great difficulty, the parents raised money for a suit for their son for the prom. As they say, "scraped together" a sufficient amount to travel to the place of further education. Sidyakin weighed all the real options and made an informed decision about where it is preferable for him to get a higher education. The future politician went to Tver and entered the law department of the local university.
In his student years, Alexander led a balanced, rational lifestyle. I did not miss lectures. At the seminars I tried to study the given topic more deeply. Since it is impossible for a student to live on a scholarship alone, Sidyakin made an acquaintance at one of the railway dead ends. At nights and on weekends, he unloaded wagons with bricks, coal, and grain. I didn't earn much money, but I had enough for food. It is important to note that the future lawyer took an active part in social and political processes. As a third-year student, Sidyakin ran the Tver branch of the National Bolshevik Party.
Professional activity
After graduating in 1999, the young specialist set his sights on a political career. And he chose a long, but correct path to achieve his goal. For two years Sidyakin worked intensively in a law firm, choosing for himself a narrow specialization - electoral law. During that chronological period, democratic procedures were undergoing legislative registration. By participating in electoral processes at various levels, Alexander gained real experience. At the elections for the head of the Komi Republic in 2001, at the suit of Sidyakin, the court canceled the registration of one of the main candidates.
A year later, Alexander was invited to the staff of the candidate for the post of governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The elections ended successfully. The creativity and competence of the young lawyer was highly appreciated. He was invited to the staff of the State Duma of the Russian Federation as an expert on electoral legislation. In 2006 Sidyakin defended his Ph. D. thesis on the topic "Refusal of registration and cancellation of registration of a candidate." The basis for the relevant conclusions and conclusions was the actual practice of a lawyer. After the defense, he initiated the publication of a collection of court decisions on the indicated topic.
On the political field
For several years, Alexander Sidyakin has been moving towards his intended goal - to get the mandate of a deputy of the State Duma. The attempts he made as a member of the Fair Russia party were unsuccessful. In 2011, the famous lawyer moved to United Russia and after the autumn elections became a full-fledged deputy of the State Duma. Sidyakin continued his activities in a new capacity within the framework of the existing regulations. He is the initiator of many laws that have been approved by the lower house of the Russian parliament.
In the summer of 2012, Sidyakin joined the initiative group for the adoption of the Law on NPOs that are foreign agents. As a result, the bill was approved and passed. However, not all of Alexander Gennadievich's proposals received the support of fellow legislators. The deputies did not dare to toughen the punishment for participating in unsanctioned rallies. But the proposal to use transparent boxes for ballots in voting was unanimously adopted. The deputy regularly traveled to the assigned region to meet with voters. In November 2018, Sidyakin moved to work in the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and resigned from his parliamentary powers.
Essays on personal life
In his free time from his main activity, Alexander is engaged in active sports. Including extreme tourism, mountain skiing, swimming. In the winter of 2015, together with his colleague-deputy, Sidyakin climbed the highest mountain peak of Antarctica. This ascent was widely reported in the press and on TV. The fact is that the climbers did not contact for several days. Fortunately, the expedition ended well. Climbing Everest and Kilimanjaro took place as usual.
Sidyakin prefers not to talk about his personal life. The former deputy is legally married. The husband and wife are raising two children. Alexander tries to instill in his son basic masculine traits and often takes him on trips. The daughter spends time with her mother more often. The family owns two apartments and two cars. Alexander Sidyakin was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the President of the Russian Federation for active legislative activity.
