Quite unexpectedly for the actor himself, he felt a strong sympathy for one employee of the musical comedy theater Svetlana. Over time, mutual attraction grew into a stronger feeling, and the couple formalized their relationship.
Svetlana Smolkina worked as an accompanist in the theater and was much younger than her husband. But the age difference did not become a hindrance to a strong relationship and soon the couple had a child, a boy, who was named Gleb.
