Every day it becomes more and more difficult for a modern person: new laws are adopted, rules and regulations are updated. As a result, it becomes necessary to obtain more and more certificates and confirmations. If in the process of drawing up certain documents you have repeatedly encountered the arbitrariness and inaction of officials, do not be afraid to defend your rights and file a complaint, the preparation of which should not cause you any difficulties, because it is subject to the same rules as the formalization of an official business letter.

Instructions

Step 1

Find out for sure the name of the official to whom your complaint should be directed.

Step 2

Clearly define for yourself and formulate what you are not satisfied with, what you want to get and what to achieve (compensation for damage, dismissal of an employee, assistance).

Step 3

Since you are writing an official document, show respect for whoever will read it: write neatly and legibly, without blots, use A4 paper. If possible, print the complaint text on your computer.

Step 4

Please note that the text should not be too long, place it on no more than three pages, preferably two.

Step 5

Write to the point. Indicate which person's actions (surname, position, etc.) you consider illegal. Add the necessary details to the description of the situation: document numbers, exact dates, names of all participants. Indicate that you understand the reasons for what happened, that you did everything possible to resolve the problem, and that this complaint is the last hope for justice.

Step 6

Don't let your emotions run wild. Justify your claims from the point of view of the law, list the articles under which your situation falls, mention specific documents. Express your attitude to the problem that has arisen, evaluate the actions of certain employees. Add that you have sent copies of the letter to other authorities, tell how you will proceed if your requirements are not met. Indicate the articles of the Law, according to which you can bring an official to justice.

Step 7

At the end of the appeal, clearly state your requirements and the need for specific actions, also referring to the Law. That is, your complaint should not be a simple statement of fact (or facts) and inaction of a specific official in this situation, it should contain a proposal - how do you see the solution to the problem, how, in your opinion, the one who is obliged to do it should resolve it …

Step 8

Indicate your personal data: last name, first name, patronymic, contact phone number, mailing address where you want to receive a written answer, put the date and signature.
